Anywho, I probably missed a detail, but how do I set it to STOP during the course of a day? I want to water hourly between 6am and 6pm.

Just follow the plan settings in screenshot and you’ll be all set!
This schedule is perfect for watering between 6 AM and 6 PM. Just make sure each time slot has its own start time, and you’re good to go.

Oh thank you. I have a timer with a dial though, closest manual available would be the solar ITV164.
Oh yeah, that model’s got just one start time and a watering duration — no end time setting on that one. You basically set when it starts and how long it runs, and that’s it.
