Where to place soil sensor

I just installed my HCS026FRF soil sensors in my raised garden bed. How close to my tomato plants should I bury the sensor? For reference (if it matters), I have a drip system.

Thanks,

Roy

Hello Roy,

Thank you for contacting us.

We recommend placing the sensor close to the tomato plants for better soil moisture detection.

When installing the sensor, compact the soil layer by layer. Bury the sensor at the MAX mark, not less than the mark, but not too deep, as this can cause waterlogging at the top.

Please refer to the installation instructions in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV4ZUMEVsdE

We wish your tomatoes a healthy and thriving future! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
