Going away for a few days — can an automatic pump keep plants alive?

I’m going away for a few days and I’m trying to avoid asking my neighbor to water every indoor plant again.

I have a few pothos, herbs, and one bigger leafy plant that all need different amounts of water.

Has anyone used an automatic watering pump for short trips? Did it keep the plants alive without making the soil too wet?

Definitely test the drip amount first. Small pots can get too wet if the flow is too high.

This is exactly why I started looking at automatic watering. I hate asking people to check plants.
