I’m planning drip irrigation for a few raised vegetable beds and trying to decide between drip lines running along each row or individual emitters near each plant.
The beds will have a mix of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and leafy greens, so their watering needs won’t always be identical.
For anyone using drip irrigation in raised beds:
- How many drip lines do you run per bed?
- Do you use emitters or drip tubing?
- How long do you normally run each watering cycle?
- Do you change the schedule as plants get larger?
