Today was my first time using a watering timer that doesn’t need WiFi or an app, and it felt more straightforward than I expected.

I installed it on the backyard faucet and set everything directly on the device — start time, watering duration, and frequency. No pairing process, no phone setup, just a few minutes and it was ready.

For me, the backyard is mostly flower beds and raised beds, so the watering needs are pretty basic. This kind of direct setup works well for that.

After the first use, the biggest impression was: a lot of basic functions don’t need complicated steps to work well.

Did your first experience with something like this feel easier than expected too?
